Legal services and legal protection
Our members have access to free legal services provided by our employment lawyers. This includes, for example, reviewing employment contracts, providing legal advice on various employment or representative matters, and handling dispute cases.
Our employment lawyers aim to resolve disputes as a member service through standard negotiation procedures. If no resolution is reached through negotiation, the member may apply for a legal protection decision from us. In such cases, we will cover legal expenses up to a specified maximum amount.
Terms of use for legal services
- Our telephone and email advisory services are available to you from the very start of your membership. For example, you can have us review your employment contract or termination agreement!
- Dispute resolution is available if the dispute arose after your membership has been valid for at least six (6) months. Dispute resolution may include a lawyer preparing written statements to your employer and, if necessary, taking the matter to court. Our primary goal is always to reach an amicable settlement.
- Your membership fees must be paid up to date. If you have been granted additional time to pay your fees, your membership will remain valid, but access to legal services may be partially suspended until your payments are in order.
